Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP APO GATP (Global Available-to-Promise) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP APO, GATP configuration, integration, and support. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting GATP solutions integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other supply-chain systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP APO GATP functionality based on business requirements.
- Work on Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) processes including:
- Product Availability Check (PAC)
- Rules-Based Availability Check (RBATP)
- Multilevel ATP
- Supply Assignment
- Product Allocation
- Backorder Processing (BOP)
- Capable-to-Match (CTM), where applicable
- Configure ATP checking rules, check instructions, checking groups, scopes of check, and business event handling .
- Design and implement rules-based ATP using condition techniques and business rules.
- Configure Product Allocation (PAL)



and allocation strategies according to business requirements.
- Work on Backorder Processing and prioritization strategies.
- Analyze and resolve GATP issues related to order confirmation, availability checks, allocations, and supply assignment.
- Integrate APO GATP with SAP SD, MM, PP, and S/4HANA/ECC systems.
- Work with CIF integration and troubleshoot master/transaction data transfer between ERP and APO.
- Support integration with external systems through interfaces such as IDoc, RFC, APIs, and middleware , where applicable.
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support UAT.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and coordinate with ABAP/development teams.
- Analyze performance issues and recommend improvements for ATP processes.
- Support production incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
- Participate in workshops with business stakeholders to understand supply-chain and order fulfillment requirements.
- Prepare configuration documents, test scripts, user guides, and other project documentation.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP APO GATP .
- Good understanding of SAP APO architecture and integration .
- Expertise in ATP configuration and availability checking .




- Experience with Rules-Based ATP (RBATP) .
- Experience with Product Allocation and Backorder Processing .
- Knowledge of SAP APO CIF and ERP-APO integration.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD order management and ATP processes .
- Good knowledge of SAP master data such as:
- Material/Product
- Location
- Customer
- Transportation lanes
- Production/supply data
- Experience troubleshooting ATP and integration issues.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration with APO .
- Good understanding of supply-chain planning and order fulfillment processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced ATP (aATP) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP IBP integration is beneficial.
- Experience in SAP APO upgrades, migrations, or implementation projects .
- Strong experience in production support and incident management.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
