Krones Digital Solutions India is created as of 2023 to be the Technology Competence Centre for Krones, focusing on developing software solutions for the Internal organization as well as for the customers of Krones Global.

Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP ABAP PP Developer who brings strong hands-on experience in SAP technical development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP ABAP development for SAP ECC and S/4HANA PP environments, excellent programming skills, and a solid understanding of Production Planning (PP) processes.

This role will directly report to Manager of Head of IT CA Technology and will be based in Bengaluru.

What are you in for? (Roles and responsibilities)

- Solid Experience in SAP technical development (SAP ABAP) and Support of SAP Business Suite Solutions ERP-ECC PP R/3 system and S/4HANA PP.
- Good Process knowledge / overview of SAP functional module in PP (mandatory) and MM (optional).
- Very strong programming skills / coding skills
- Strong working experience in Reports, Dynpro, Interface, Conversions, Enhancements, IDOC, OData, Adobeforms.




- Good knowledge of database operations and optimizations
- Experienced in SAP ABAP programming on HANA and ABAP Cloud versions, running ATC checks, and custom code remediation for S/4HANA environment.
- Experience in developing, OData APIs in V2 and V4 using SADL and other frameworks and RFC APIs.
- Design and implement CDS (Core Data Services) views.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting APIs from the Fiori applications (optional)
- Develop, register and test OData services in V4 and V2 using various frameworks
- Develop or enhance SAP Adobe forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
- Follow SAP Best Practices for ABAP Development on Cloud and On Premise, project coding standards, naming conventions, ATC Checks and document test results.
- Develop Technical Specifications, Unit Test and Code Review documents, work with functional, Basis and Security teams to ensure successful testing during various phases of the project.
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to junior developers and consultants.
- Document issues with SAP products and create incidents with SAP. Collaborate with SAP Support team to coordinate working sessions and help resolve issues.
- Understanding of SAP BTP and services
- Good to have experience in S/4 key user extension, developer extension and Side-by-Side extensions using SAP BTP.





Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the below: -

Technology Expertise (PP):

- Positive Process knowledge / overview of SAP functional module in PP (mandatory) and MM (optional)
- Designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is an asset).
- Design and configure the SAP PP module to align with the company’s production and planning processes.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users to ensure they understand how to use the SAP PP module effectively.
- Perform regular system checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the SAP PP module.
- Document all processes, configurations and updates made to the SAP PP module

What are we looking for? (Experience/Qualifications/Skillsets/Must-haves) Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree with min 8 years of experience to max 10 years of total experience in in SAP ABAP PP.
