Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Tech Lead with 10–15 years of experience in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), S/4HANA development, technical architecture, and team leadership. The candidate will lead ABAP development activities, mentor developers, drive technical design decisions, and support implementation, migration, rollout, and integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP ABAP technical design, development, code review, and delivery across S/4HANA projects.
- Drive end-to-end ABAP development using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
- Design scalable and reusable technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
- Lead technical discussions with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and integration teams.
- Mentor and guide ABAP developers and ensure coding standards, quality, and performance optimization.
- Participate in greenfield implementations, brownfield conversions, rollout projects, and production support.
- Review technical specifications, conduct effort estimations, and support release management.

- EML (Entity Manipulation Language).
- Draft-enabled applications.
- Service Definitions and Service Bindings.
- Exposure to RAP extensibility and authorization concepts.

SAP Fiori/UI5 & OData
- SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.
- SAP Gateway.
- OData Services (V2/V4).
- Integration of RAP services with Fiori applications.

Interfaces & Integrations
- BAPI.
- REST APIs.
- ALE/IDoc.
- RFC/Web Services.
- Integration with SAP and non-SAP applications.

SAP Forms
- SAP Script.

- Adobe Forms.

Enhancements
- User Exits.

Project Experience
- Experience in Greenfield and Brownfield S/4HANA migration projects.
- Experience in SAP rollout projects across multiple countries.
- Experience creating interfaces with SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Experience supporting SAP Basis teams during HANA migration activities.
- Experience in Functional Unit Testing and defect resolution.




- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects.

- Ensure timely delivery with high-quality development practices.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP BTP ABAP Environment is an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Build, SAP CAP, or SAP Integration Suite is desirable.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with C4C, Ariba, SAP Business One, or third-party systems.
- Manufacturing or Engineering industry domain experience is preferred.
