Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced S/4HANA ABAP Developer with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing and enhancing mid to complex SAP objects, with proven experience in OData services, RAP(Restful Application Programming), SAP ABAP on Hana, CDS Views, AMDP. interfaces, and third-party system integrations.

The candidate should also have strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, as the role involves working directly with clients and business teams to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP S/4HANA ABAP objects ranging from medium to complex levels.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical solutions.
- Develop and enhance ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and other custom objects.
- Design and develop OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 and external application integrations.
- Develop, configure, and support RAP Objects, including workflow design, events, agents, approvals,



and troubleshooting.
- Design and develop SAP interfaces for integrating S/4HANA with internal and external systems.
- Work extensively on third-party integrations, including understanding integration requirements, data mapping, error handling, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across ABAP programs, interfaces, workflows, and integrations.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical remediation.
- Ensure development follows SAP best practices, coding standards, performance guidelines, and clean-core principles wherever applicable.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business users, integration teams, and other technical teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, estimation, and implementation activities.
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, conduct discussions, and communicate project status.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, test scenarios, and deployment-related documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-production issue resolution.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- 4–8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Experience with SAP clean-core and extensibility concepts is mandatory.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP on Cloud development.
- Strong experience in RAP development in BTP.
- Hands-on experience in OData services, including development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and integration.
- Strong experience in SAP Workflows, including workflow development, configuration,



troubleshooting, and support.
- Strong experience in developing and supporting SAP interfaces.
- Experience working on third-party system integrations with SAP.
- Proven experience working on mid to complex ABAP objects.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP development, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in requirement analysis and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in a client-facing role with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently handle technical discussions and provide solutions to complex development and integration requirements.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AMDP, CDS Views is positive to have
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and S/4HANA extensibility can be added advantage
- Knowledge of RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, APIs, IDoc, RFC, and web services.
- Understanding of SAP BTP/integration platforms is a plus.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on S/4HANA ABAP professional who can independently work on medium to complex development objects, has strong expertise in OData, Workflows, interfaces, and third-party integrations, and is comfortable interacting directly with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
