Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sanitary Inspector role based in Kolhapur.

The Sanitary

Inspector will conduct regular inspections of public spaces, residential areas, commercial establishments, and waste disposal sites to ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards. The role includes monitoring waste management practices, identifying health and safety risks, and recommending corrective actions in coordination with relevant municipal departments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to identify, assess, and mitigate public health risks.
- Candidates should possess strong Inspection skills to systematically evaluate sanitation conditions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to oversee sanitation staff and coordinate field operations effectively.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge to support safe waste handling, pollution control, and environmental protection initiatives.
- Relevant educational background in public health, environmental science, sanitary inspection, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local health and sanitation regulations and willingness to learn municipal procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare clear reports, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
