We are building a premium luxury salon and professional skincare brand and are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and passionate Salon Trainer & Skincare Product Trainer.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering professional salon training programs, ensuring that salon teams follow the highest standards of technical skills, product knowledge, service quality, hygiene and customer experience.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Salon Trainer & Skincare Product Trainer

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Experience: 2+ Years of Relevant Salon / Training Experience Preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. SALON & BEAUTY SKILLS TRAINING

- Conduct practical and theoretical training for Salon Professionals, Beauticians, Hair Stylists and Skin Therapists.
- Train staff in Hair, Skin, Beauty, Facial, Makeup and Salon Service Procedures as per business requirements.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations and practical assessments to ensure proper technique and service quality.
- Train employees on professional consultation, service execution and customer handling.
- Develop structured training modules, SOPs, checklists and assessment formats.

1. SKINCARE & PRODUCT TRAINING

- Provide detailed training on Skincare Products, Ingredients, Product Benefits, Usage, Application Techniques and Contraindications.
- Train therapists and salon staff on professional use of facials, clean-ups, masks, serums, peels and other skincare treatments as applicable.
- Ensure the team understands product selection according to different skin types and customer requirements.
- Conduct new product training and product launch sessions whenever required.
- Ensure correct product application, dosage, hygiene and storage practices.

1. HAIR & SALON SERVICE TRAINING

- Train staff on relevant Haircare, Hair Treatments, Styling,



Hair Colouring and Professional Salon Techniques.
- Provide training on manicure, pedicure, waxing, threading, makeup and other salon services as required.
- Ensure employees follow approved service protocols and SOPs.
- Identify technical gaps and conduct refresher training wherever required.

1. QUALITY, HYGIENE & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

- Ensure high standards of Salon Hygiene, Sanitation, Safety and Professional Grooming.
- Train staff on tools, equipment and workstation hygiene.
- Establish and maintain consistent service quality standards across salon operations.
- Train employees in Customer Consultation, Communication, Upselling, Cross-selling and Skilled Customer Service.
- Conduct regular quality audits and skill assessments.

1. TRAINING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

- Assess employee skills through practical demonstrations, evaluations and performance assessments.
- Maintain Training Records, Attendance, Assessment Reports and Employee Skill Matrices.
- Identify individual training needs and create training improvement plans.
- Conduct onboarding and induction training for new salon employees.
- Provide continuous coaching and development to improve technical skills and service standards.
- Work closely with Salon Management and Operations Teams to identify training requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the salon, beauty, skincare or professional training industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of Salon Services, Skincare and Beauty Treatments.
- Strong Product Knowledge and ability to explain technical product information in a simple and practical manner.
- Excellent Training,



Demonstration and Presentation Skills.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Ability to conduct both theoretical and hands-on practical training.
- Strong understanding of Salon Hygiene, Safety, SOPs and Service Standards.
- Good knowledge of Skin Types, Skin Concerns and appropriate product/service selection.
- Ability to evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Professional, well-groomed, confident and comfortable working with salon teams.
- Experience with Luxury Salons, Professional Skincare Brands, Beauty Academies or Premium Beauty Businesses will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable with on-site training and visiting salon locations as required.
