About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Gym Equipment Service Engineer to handle installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential fitness equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and demonstrate gym and fitness equipment at client locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in gym equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, strength equipment, multi-stations, etc.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve technical complaints within the required timeline.
- Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) service visits and maintain proper service records.
- Identify faulty components and recommend suitable repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate with the service team and management for spare parts and technical requirements.
- Ensure equipment is serviced and maintained according to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain professional communication and good relationships with clients.
- Prepare service reports after every installation/service visit.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in gym equipment, fitness equipment, or similar technical service roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use basic tools and perform equipment troubleshooting.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to different client locations across Mumbai and nearby areas.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
