Sales Manager – Wedding Photography & Events

About the Role

Dream Illusion Events is looking for a passionate and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales process for wedding photography, cinematography, and event management services.

The ideal candidate should be confident in communicating with clients, understand their requirements, build strong relationships, handle objections, and convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings.

This is a target-driven role with significant ownership of the complete sales journey from receiving a lead to closing the booking.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and convert incoming leads from Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, website, referrals, and other channels.
- Contact leads promptly and understand their wedding/event requirements, dates, venue, expectations, and budget.
- Conduct sales calls and consultations with prospective clients.
- Follow up consistently with interested and unresponsive leads through calls and WhatsApp.
- Present our photography, cinematography, wedding films, and event management services effectively.
- Understand client requirements and recommend the right package or customized solution.
- Handle pricing discussions, objections, negotiations, and client concerns professionally.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings whenever required.
- Maintain complete and accurate lead information and follow-up status in the CRM.
- Track every lead through the sales pipeline and ensure no potential lead is missed.
- Coordinate with the photography, cinematography, and event coordination teams whenever required for client requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until the booking is confirmed or the lead is closed.
- Achieve monthly sales and booking targets.
- Prepare and share regular sales reports, including leads received, calls made, follow-ups, meetings, conversions, and revenue.
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Help develop and improve sales scripts, follow-up systems, offers, and conversion strategies.




- Build long-term relationships with clients and generate referrals and repeat business.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wedding photography, events, hospitality, luxury services, real estate, or a similar customer-facing industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with clients over phone calls and WhatsApp.
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Target-oriented and motivated by achieving sales results.
- Good understanding of CRM systems and sales pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets.
- Good coordination and team-management skills.
- Qualified attitude with strong client-handling skills.
- Fluency in Tamil and English is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in wedding photography or event sales.
- Experience handling high-value service sales.
- Knowledge of lead generation and digital marketing funnels.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Refrens, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Strong WhatsApp communication and sales follow-up skills.
