Role Description The Sales Manager – Banquets is a full-time, in office role based in Panchkula, responsible for driving banquet sales and maximizing revenue from events and functions. This position involves managing inquiries, conducting client meetings and venue show-rounds, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

The Sales

Manager will coordinate with operations, kitchen, and front office teams to ensure seamless event execution and high guest satisfaction. Daily tasks include prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with event planners and corporate accounts, tracking sales targets, preparing reports,



and updating management on market trends and competitor activities. The role also includes participation in marketing initiatives, promotions, and collaborations to enhance the visibility and occupancy of banquet spaces.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in banquet sales, event sales, or hospitality sales, preferably in hotels or banquet venues.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing sales deals.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, CRM or booking systems, and maintaining accurate sales records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and service-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple events.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in TriCity and Panchkula and familiarity with wedding and events segments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
