Cernis is hiring on behalf of a growing construction materials company in Kolkata.

Our client is building their sales function from the ground up and is looking for a Sales Executive to be one of its first members. You'll take their products to sites and projects, build relationships with contractors, engineers and vendors, and close deals.

This is a ground-floor role. You're not slotting into an existing machine you'll help shape how the company sells, and every deal you close visibly moves the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Work company-provided leads: qualify, follow up diligently, and convert into closed deals
- Develop deep product knowledge across cement, construction chemicals and related materials
- Build and nurture relationships with contractors, engineers, vendors and procurement teams
- Conduct site visits and in-person client meetings to drive and close sales
- Manage follow-ups and ensure smooth order execution end to end
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets

Required Candidate Profile





- Experience selling construction materials (cement, chemicals or related products) is essential
- 3–6 years of relevant field or B2B sales experience
- Robust understanding of on-site sales and procurement processes
- Confident, persuasive communicator, comfortable with field work and frequent client interaction
- Must own a vehicle for travel as required
- Graduate in any discipline
- Thrives in a build-from-scratch environment
