Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Engineer role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and qualify prospective customers, present technical solutions, and promote Tapco’s pneumatic and industrial engineering products.

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical sales presentations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with the design and engineering teams to address customer requirements.



The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, supporting project proposals and quotations, conducting product demonstrations, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

The Sales

Engineer will contribute to market development activities, gather customer feedback, and support business growth targets in the region.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, present proposals, and manage ongoing relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills to drive opportunity conversion, negotiate terms, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field preferred.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, industrial automation, or piping projects is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region and visit customer sites as required.
