Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram for a Sales Engineer specializing in Agriculture Drones.

The Sales

Engineer will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their agricultural requirements, demonstrate drone capabilities, and propose tailored solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical presentations, supporting field trials, preparing proposals and quotations, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure solution feasibility. The role involves providing post-sales technical support, training customers on drone operation and software usage, and addressing product queries or troubleshooting issues.

Engineer will also contribute to market feedback, help refine product offerings for agriculture use cases, and participate in business development activities such as industry events, farmer outreach programs, and partner coordination.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to translate customer requirements into effective drone-based solutions and provide hands-on product support.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service to manage the full sales cycle, build long-term relationships, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Excellent Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly, conduct product demonstrations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Background in engineering, agriculture technology, or a related technical field; bachelor’s degree in engineering, agriculture, or sciences is preferred.
- Understanding of UAV/drone technologies, sensors, and agricultural applications such as spraying, mapping, and monitoring.
- Ability to work on-site in field conditions, travel to customer locations, and conduct demonstrations in real-world agricultural environments.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose technical issues, interpret data from drone operations, and recommend improvements.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, basic MS Office skills, and comfort with using digital platforms for reporting and communication.
- Prior experience in B2B or agri-tech sales is an advantage; knowledge of Indian agriculture practices and regional languages is beneficial.
