Role Description The Sales Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lodhika, responsible for bridging technical product knowledge with customer-facing sales activities. Day-to-day tasks include understanding customer machining requirements, recommending suitable solid carbide cutting tools and accessories, and preparing technical proposals and quotations.

The role involves conducting product demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with the engineering and production teams to address application challenges.

Engineer will maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers, support territory sales targets, and gather market feedback to inform product improvements and recent developments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to identify customer needs, present solutions, and support revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge to understand cutting tool design, machining processes, and manufacturing applications.
- Candidates should possess relevant Technical Support experience to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and application optimization.
- Candidates should possess applicable Electrical Engineering fundamentals to interface with CNC machines, automation systems, and related equipment when needed.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, practical terms.
- Experience in cutting tools, machine tools, or metalworking industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, visit customer locations, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
