Role Description The Sales Application Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Sriperumbudur, responsible for supporting the sales team with technical expertise and application-specific solutions. This role includes reviewing customer inquiries, selecting appropriate flow control products, preparing technical quotations, and assisting with bid proposals.

The Sales Application

Engineer will collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure that customer requirements are accurately understood and met, while providing pre- and post-sales technical support. Daily responsibilities also involve responding to technical queries, conducting product presentations or demonstrations, maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tools,



and contributing to continuous improvement of application guidelines and documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to interpret customer requirements, develop proposals, and support the sales process.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support experience to address customer inquiries, troubleshoot application issues, and provide guidance on product selection.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering knowledge to understand valves, actuators, and related flow control equipment and their industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge to support actuated systems, control interfaces, and basic instrumentation requirements.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical education.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with standard office software and basic CRM or ERP systems; experience in industrial or process control environments is an advantage.

- Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach, with readiness to work on-site in Sriperumbudur.
