Role Description The Sales and Service Engineer for Water and Waste Water Treatment is a full time, hybrid role based in Salcette, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting client sites to assess water and wastewater treatment needs, supporting installation and commissioning of treatment systems, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on equipment.

The role involves preparing technical proposals, assisting with system design inputs, and explaining treatment solutions and performance benefits to clients. The engineer will respond to service calls, troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and upgrades, and maintain clear documentation of service activities and customer interactions.



The position also requires building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services or system improvements, and ensuring all work aligns with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

- Technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and basic chemistry relevant to treatment applications.
- Skills in field service activities, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to prepare technical reports, service documentation, and customer proposals with clear, accurate communication.
- Strong customer service, relationship management, and negotiation skills to support sales and after-sales activities.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple site visits, service calls, and project tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental) or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices in water and wastewater treatment.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including field travel in and around Salcette and remote coordination with internal teams.
