Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Sales and Marketing Intern at Taxaura.io. The intern will assist in identifying and qualifying prospective small business customers, conducting outreach via email, social media, and calls, and supporting product demos and follow-ups. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping manage sales pipelines, updating CRM records, and gathering customer feedback to inform marketing campaigns.





The intern will also support the creation of basic marketing materials, participate in training sessions, and collaborate with team members to improve customer engagement and conversion.

Qualifications

- Robust Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospective and existing small business clients effectively.
- Foundational Sales skills and interest in Sales Management to support lead generation, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Ability to assist with Training-related tasks, such as learning product features quickly and helping walk customers through onboarding.
- Comfort working in a remote, tech-driven environment with AI-based tools and cloud platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Interest in startups, fintech, or accounting technology; prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
