Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales & Application Engineer to join our Energy Division in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Online UPS systems, understanding customer requirements, providing suitable technical solutions, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and follow up on leads for Online UPS products.
- Understand customer power backup requirements and recommend suitable UPS solutions.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
- Explain Online UPS specifications, features, benefits, and applications to customers.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
- Prepare technical proposals and product comparisons when required.
- Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing and potential customers.
- Support the team in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with the installation/service team for project execution and commissioning.
- Provide basic technical support and application guidance to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer, enquiry,



quotation, and order details in CRM/ERP.
- Prepare regular sales and enquiry reports for management.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new customer relationships.
- Stay updated on UPS products, applications, competitors, and market trends.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Online UPS systems and electrical power backup solutions.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, power loads, batteries, and UPS applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Good quotation and proposal preparation skills.
- Solid follow-up and sales conversion ability.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in UPS, electrical products, power backup solutions, or technical sales.
- Experience in Online UPS sales/application engineering will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong technical knowledge and sales interest are preferred.
