Job Purpose The Sainik Incharge is responsible for developing discipline, leadership qualities, patriotism, physical fitness, military orientation, and character building among cadets. The role involves organizing military-style training, parades, drills, camps, and various activities aligned with the objectives of Sainik Schools and the preparation of students for the Armed Forces and other leadership roles.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Discipline & Conduct

- Maintain discipline, decorum, and military ethos among cadets.
- Ensure adherence to school rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
- Monitor student behavior within the campus, hostels, and during school activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of uniforms, turnout, and personal hygiene.

1. Drill & Military Training

- Organize and conduct daily drills and parade practices.
- Train cadets in marching, ceremonial parade formations, and military customs.
- Prepare students for ceremonial events, national celebrations, and inspections.
- Coordinate training activities related to Armed Forces orientation.

1. Physical Fitness & Sports

- Monitor physical fitness programs for cadets.
- Conduct physical training sessions, endurance activities, and obstacle training.
- Encourage participation in sports and adventure activities.
- Assess fitness levels and recommend improvement plans.

1. NCC & Leadership Development

- Coordinate NCC-related activities and training programs.
- Develop leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills among students.
- Organize leadership camps, youth development programs,



and motivational sessions.
- Promote values such as integrity, responsibility, courage, and patriotism.

1. Hostel Management & Student Welfare

- Monitor hostel discipline and routine.
- Ensure proper attendance and movement control of cadets.
- Counsel students on discipline, behavior, and personal development.
- Address welfare issues and escalate concerns when necessary.

1. Event & Camp Management

- Organize Annual Training Camps, Educational Tours, Trekking, and Adventure Activities.
- Coordinate Republic Day, Independence Day, Investiture Ceremony, and other school events.
- Manage logistics, safety, and discipline during outdoor activities.

1. Safety & Security

- Ensure implementation of safety and security protocols.
- Conduct emergency drills and evacuation exercises.
- Monitor student safety during physical training and outdoor activities.
- Report incidents and maintain appropriate records.

1. Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain records of cadet attendance, disciplinary actions, training schedules, and achievements.
- Prepare reports related to discipline, training, and student performance.
- Coordinate with parents, staff, wardens, and school administration.
- Support recruitment and training of cadet leaders.

Key Accountabilities (KPIs)
- Maintenance of student discipline and conduct.




- Successful conduct of parade and drill activities.
- Participation and performance in NCC/cadet programs.
- Physical fitness standards achieved by students.
- Number of leadership and character-building activities conducted.
- Reduction in disciplinary incidents.
- Successful organization of camps and ceremonial events.
- Compliance with safety and security standards.

Educational QualificationEssential
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Ex-Serviceman (Army/Navy/Air Force) preferred.

Desirable
- NCC 'C' Certificate/Instructor Qualification.
- Diploma/Certification in Physical Education, Adventure Training, or Leadership Training.

Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years of service in Armed Forces/NCC/Defence Institutions/Residential Schools.
- Experience in training cadets, conducting drills, and managing discipline.
- Experience in hostel administration and student supervision preferred.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
