About Position:

We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ API Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, with a strong focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ plugin and API development. This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of custom SailPoint IdentityIQ plugins and APIs, ensuring scalable and secure integrations within enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) plugins, APIs, and extensions.
- Architect and develop custom REST APIs, UI pages, backend services, workflows, rules, and task definitions within IIQ.
- Design scalable, secure, and reusable API frameworks to extend IdentityIQ functionality and support enterprise integrations.
- Drive integration of SailPoint IIQ with enterprise applications, directories, cloud platforms, and IAM solutions.
- Define API standards, coding best practices, security guidelines, and development methodologies.
- Review solution designs, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers on SailPoint plugin and API development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex plugin, API, performance, security, and integration-related issues.
- Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise IAM solutions.
- Support release management, deployment planning, CI/CD implementation, and production support activities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Strong hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ development with expertise in Plugin Development and Custom API Solutions.
- Extensive experience developing custom REST APIs within SailPoint IIQ Plugins.




- Strong knowledge of SailPoint Plugin Framework, Plugin SDK, plugin packaging, and deployment lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Java, REST, JSON, XML, SQL, Maven, and Git.
- Strong understanding of IAM/IGA concepts including JML, Certifications, Provisioning, RBAC, SoD, and Access Governance.
- Experience with application onboarding, connector configurations, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, OAuth, JWT, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Tomcat, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
- Ability to troubleshoot API performance, scalability, authentication, authorization, and security-related issues.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and solution design skills.
- SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect Certification.
- Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
- Experience developing reusable IAM API platforms and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO technologies.
- Experience integrating SailPoint with ServiceNow, CyberArk, SAP, Workday, Oracle, or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture, API governance, and microservices-based integration patterns.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to lead development teams,



conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of IAM/IGA concepts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality enterprise IAM solutions.
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
