We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer to join our team for a 25-floor high-rise residential building construction project in Kozhikkode.

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements at the construction site and ensuring that all employees, workers, subcontractors and visitors follow safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Implement and monitor site HSE policies and safety procedures.

· Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards.

· Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.

· Monitor work-at-height, scaffolding, lifting and construction activities.

· Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and worker training.

· Maintain safety records, inspection reports and HSE documentation.

· Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.





· Ensure proper fire safety, emergency arrangements and first-aid facilities.

· Monitor housekeeping, barricading, signage and access control.

· Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on safety matters.

· Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and project safety requirements.

· Immediately report and take action on unsafe conditions and practices

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering / Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction safety, preferably in high-rise building projects.
- Good knowledge of construction site safety procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day safety activities at a large construction site.
