Job Purpose:

To ensure Occupational Health and Safety of people associated with organization

Principal Accountabilities:

- Planning and developing OH&S; management system with respect to international standards

- Establishing OH&S; Management System in accordance with the requirements ISO 45001:2018

- Developing OH&S; related Secure Operating Procedures for the organization

- Supporting in establishing the OH&S; plan at various locations

- Suggesting & reviewing continual improvements on sites for achieving OH&S; Performance targets

- Coordinating with the external parties for all matters relating to the OH&S; Management System

- Reviewing and analysing safety reports for monitoring the OH&S; performance and for achieving continual improvements in the system

- Reviewing all communication from external parties such as statutory and regulatory agencies, customers, stake holders etc. and responding to their communication

- Collecting, compiling, analysing and advising the management on OH&S; performance parameters in periodic intervals





- Reviewing OH&S; performance of the organization and establish / update the Objectives, Targets and Management programmes on regular basis

- Communicating changes in the OH&S; Management system to all concerned departments proactively

- Managing a team of 04-06 members

- Identifying the training needs on the basis of safety inspection data and conducting appropriate interventions (e.g. coaching, mentoring, on the job training)

- Monitoring training effectiveness on the basis of the KPIs set for continual improvement

Functional Competencies:

- Knowledge of Construction safety and Environment

- Good understanding on Statute requirements on Occupational Health and Safety in construction

- Good Understanding on Best practices followed in Construction

- Interpersonal skills

Qualification and Experience:

- Recognized degree in any branch of engineering or technology or architecture.

- Recognized degree or diploma in industrial safety

- 12-16 years of work experience
