Key Responsibilities

Safety Management

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and guidelines across all project sites.

- Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at multiple project locations.

- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements (Factories Act, Building &
- Other Construction Workers Act, IS codes, OSHA standards).

- Lead incident/accident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.

- Monitor use of PPEs, scaffolding, lifting equipment, fire safety, and other safety measures at sites.

- Maintain safety performance records, reports, and documentation for management and regulatory authorities.

Training &

- Awareness

- Conduct safety induction programs for new employees and contractors.

- Organize periodic safety training, tool-box talks, and awareness programs for site staff.

- Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to “zero-accident” objectives.

Coordination &

- Leadership

- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to enforce safety compliance.

- Coordinate with external agencies, government authorities,



and consultants for safety inspections and audits.

- Manage a team of safety officers deployed across different project sites.

- Provide safety performance updates and reports to senior management.

Key Skills &

- Competencies

- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on experience in multi-project and multi-location safety management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate site teams on safety practices.

- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management reporting tools.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.

- Mandatory: Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH certification.

- 7–15 years of experience in construction safety management.

- Experience in handling multiple projects/sites simultaneously is preferred.
