Job Summary

SRJ Piping India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Site Safety Officer with good knowledge of fire safety and industrial/construction site safety . The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, monitoring site activities, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with client and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor day-to-day site safety and HSE compliance .
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
- Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Supervise safety during hot work, welding, cutting, grinding, work at height, lifting and electrical activities .
- Ensure availability and proper placement of fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.
- Have practical knowledge of fire protection systems, hydrant and sprinkler installations .
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers.
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment and other safety arrangements.
- Report accidents,



near misses and unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are closed.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, toolbox talk records and other HSE documentation.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Fire Supervisor, client and main contractor's safety team .
- Ensure all site activities comply with project safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Stop or escalate any work that presents an immediate safety risk.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, Mechanical or related field .
- Minimum 2 years of relevant site experience .
- Experience in fire protection, industrial piping, fabrication, MEP or construction projects preferred.
- NEBOSH Certification is a plus.
- Strong practical knowledge of fire safety and construction safety.
- Good communication, documentation and manpower coordination skills.
- Willing to work at project sites and travel as required.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, automotive, high-tech or large commercial projects will be preferred.
