It is a major distributor of Scotch whisky and other spirits. Distilleries owned by Client produce 40% of all Scotch whisky with over 24 brands.

About The Job:

This is an Accounting/RTR (Record-to-Report) role for someone with 3-6 years of experience. The person will mainly handle month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial and statutory reporting, and internal controls. Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA/FI-CO, BlackLine, Excel, Power BI, Treasury Accounting, and financial reporting is required.

The role also involves stakeholder management and process improvement, so the candidate should have good communication skills and experience working in an MNC/Shared Services workplace.

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes

- Ensure that management and statutory reporting is completed

accurately and on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to
- Perform reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous




- improvement of the financial and operational process
- Executional excellence should prepare reports and provide

solutions on a simple and straight forward way
- Challenge to improve should focus on improvement opportunities by positively challenging existing forms and ways of working
- Control focus a controlling mindset is inevitable to contribute to the design and operation of our control environment
- Positive intent and personal impact interact with various departments with a positive outlook when looking for solutions.
- Has the self-confidence to present own ideas and convince other in a motivating way.

Qualifications: SAP S4 Hana, Blackline, MS application, PowerBI, Reconciliation, RTR experience.

Graduate in Finance or Accounting

- 3-6 years experience in Accounting, technical accounting skills is required
- Financial Reporting (end to end view of Financial Statement Prepaeration)
- Legal entity controllership
- Stakeholders management
- Process Expertise and improvement
- Capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
- Experience of working in a multi-national SSC environment
- Has customer focus to be able to build excellent relationships with relevant internal and external customers

- International (part)



qualification (IAS/UK/US GAAP) is an advantage.
- Must have knowledge & experience of Treasury accounting and RTR
