Job Title: Risk Control & Governance – Finance Domain SME

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 12-15 years

/Responsibilities:

- Provide Finance domain expertise across banking processes, risk control, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure business processes and controls are aligned with applicable RBI guidelines, banking regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Review and assess existing financial processes to identify control gaps, operational risks, and compliance risks.
- Define and strengthen risk management and internal control frameworks for banking operations.
- Support implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures, controls, and governance mechanisms.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business/process requirements.
- Support risk assessments, control testing, compliance reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
- Identify potential operational and financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation and preventive controls.
- Collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance, audit, and operations teams to ensure effective governance.
- Prepare and review SOPs, process documents, control matrices, risk assessments, and governance reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, evidence, and domain inputs.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their potential impact on banking processes and controls.
- Provide guidance to project and delivery teams on banking processes, regulatory compliance,



and risk considerations.

Mandatory Skills

- 12–15+ years of overall experience in Banking / Financial Services.
- Strong expertise in Finance, Risk Control, Governance, and Compliance.
- Solid understanding of RBI guidelines, regulations, and banking compliance requirements.
- Experience working with banks or financial institutions in India.
- Good understanding of banking finance processes, operational controls, and risk management.
- Experience in risk assessment, control design, control testing, audit, and remediation.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and convert them into business/process controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a Finance/Risk Governance SME.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in banking transformation / regulatory compliance projects.
- Exposure to RBI audits, internal audits, regulatory audits, or compliance assessments.
- Knowledge of AML/KYC, operational risk, financial controls, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience in defining Risk & Control Matrices (RCM) and governance frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CFA, CA, CISA, FRM, MBA Finance, or equivalent would be an advantage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Relevant experience in Domino / Lotus Notes application development

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
