Role Overview

We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager to drive day-to-day store operations and omnichannel execution across our retail network. Based at the Gurgaon HO, this role requires frequent travel to stores and the mother DC to ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient operations on the ground.

You will own the operational and P&L; performance of stores, lead store teams, and act as the key coordination link between stores and the central DC.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Store Operations

- Own end-to-end store operations across the network - opening/closing procedures, stock availability, store hygiene, and operational compliance.
- Drive standardization of SOPs across stores and ensure consistent execution on the ground.
- Conduct regular store visits/audits to identify gaps and drive corrective action.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and escalate/resolve as needed.

Omnichannel Operations

- Manage omnichannel fulfilment from stores (online orders, click-and-collect, quick-commerce/last-mile integrations as applicable).
- Ensure store-level readiness (systems, inventory accuracy, packing/dispatch processes) to support online order fulfilment.
- Work with tech/ops teams to resolve omnichannel order and inventory sync issues.

P&L; & Business Ownership

- Own the P&L; of assigned stores - driving revenue, controlling costs (shrinkage, wastage, manpower, utilities), and improving store profitability.
- Track and review store-level performance metrics (sales, footfall, conversion, basket size,



wastage) and drive improvement plans.
- Plan and monitor budgets for store operating expenses.

Team Handling

- Lead, mentor and manage store managers and store teams across the network.
- Drive hiring, training, performance management, and retention of store-level staff.
- Build a strong, accountable store operations culture with clear ownership at each level.

Coordination with Mother DC

- Act as the primary coordination point between stores and the mother DC for stock replenishment, indenting, and fill-rate management.
- Work closely with the DC team to resolve supply gaps, damages/returns, and delivery scheduling issues.
- Improve store-DC processes to reduce stock-outs and improve inventory turnaround.

What We Are Looking For

- 4-6 years of experience in retail operations, store operations, or omnichannel retail, ideally in a multi-store environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning store-level P&L; and driving profitability.
- Strong team handling and people management experience across front-line and supervisory staff.
- Comfort with frequent travel between HO, stores, and the DC.
- Solid problem-solving ability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for tracking performance and inventory.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work across stores, DC, and HO teams.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
