Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, and lead the Food & Beverage team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor sales, revenue, costs, and departmental targets.
- Control food, beverage, and operational costs and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper stock control and coordinate with the Stores/Purchase team.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance and manpower requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments.




- Conduct briefings and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase restaurant revenue.
- Maintain required operational records and reports.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in restaurant/hotel operations.
- Robust knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and service standards.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
- Leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and cost control.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hotel management qualification is preferred.
