Role Description

Valoris Insights is looking for a part-time Research & Intelligence Analyst for an initial 3-month engagement , with potential for a longer-term association based on performance and mutual fit.

The role will focus on researching and synthesizing developments across ESG, sustainability, carbon projects, carbon markets, climate policy, industry trends and regulatory frameworks , and translating them into high-quality research and intelligence products.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conduct primary and secondary research across ESG, sustainability, carbon projects and related policy areas.
- Track and interpret relevant regulations, standards, policies, carbon-market developments and industry trends.
- Develop Tier 2 and Tier 3/4 research products , including premium reports, intelligence briefs, policy notes, regulatory guides, sector reports, trackers and executive insights.
- Research carbon-project developments, methodologies, markets, policy frameworks and project-related trends.
- Translate complex research and regulatory information into clear,



evidence-based and decision-useful insights.
- Work with Valoris' Data Analyst to integrate quantitative findings and research evidence into content products.
- Maintain reliable sources, references, and research documentation.
- Contribute to Valoris' thought leadership and research portfolio.
- Support research inputs required for ESG and carbon-project advisory engagements.

Qualifications

- 1–4 years of experience in research, ESG, sustainability, carbon/climate, public policy, regulatory research, consulting, market intelligence, think tanks or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical thinking and writing skills.
- Ability to independently research unfamiliar topics and synthesize information from credible sources.
- Ability to read and interpret policy, regulatory and institutional documents.
- Strong fact-checking and source-validation discipline.
- Working knowledge of ESG and sustainability concepts; exposure to carbon markets/projects or climate policy is an advantage.
- Ability to turn data and evidence into meaningful insights.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Climate Studies, International Relations, Business, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
