Drive research, testing, and technical support activities in the Corrosion & Durability Laboratory to evaluate material performance, understand degradation mechanisms, and support product development, manufacturing, quality improvement, and customer problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute corrosion and durability testing programs, including NSS, cyclic corrosion, environmental exposure, and accelerated aging studies.
- Conduct failure analysis and root-cause investigations related to corrosion, coatings, and material degradation.
- Utilize analytical techniques such as Optical Microscopy, SEM/EDS, FTIR, coating thickness measurement, surface analysis, and electrochemical methods.
- Analyze and interpret test results to provide actionable insights for R&D;, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams.
- Support new product development, process optimization, and customer complaint resolution through data-driven technical recommendations.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and deliver timely project support.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- M.Sc. with relevant industrial or research experience, or M.Tech./M.E./M.S. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
