Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Mumbai. The Reporter will cover news and developments in advertising, marketing, and media, generating story ideas, conducting interviews, and producing accurate, timely, and engaging news articles.

Daily tasks include monitoring industry events, press releases, and social media, verifying information, and preparing reports and features for digital and print platforms.



The role may involve creating multimedia content such as video interviews or social media snippets to complement written stories. The Reporter will collaborate with editors and other team members to ensure high editorial standards and alignment with exchange4media’s content strategy.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to identify angles, verify facts, and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills, including clear, concise, and audience-focused storytelling.
- Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, such as basic video, audio, or social media content creation and familiarity with digital publishing tools.
- Relevant experience in journalism, media, or business reporting, preferably in advertising, marketing, or related domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong news sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom workplace.
- Comfort with on-site work in Mumbai and readiness to attend industry events, conferences, and briefings as required.
