Role Description This is a full-time, in office Reporter role based in Mumbai. The Reporter will research, pitch, and produce news and feature stories related to architecture, design, and youth-focused educational topics for Studio34.Cairo’s platforms. Daily tasks include conducting interviews, gathering information from multiple sources, verifying facts, and writing transparent, engaging reports tailored to a youth audience.

The Reporter will collaborate with editors and the multimedia team to develop visually supported stories, including photo, video, and social media formats. The role also involves attending events, lectures, and workshops,



monitoring relevant news and trends in the MENA and global architecture communities, and contributing to editorial planning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to cover stories accurately and on deadline.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills, including clear storytelling and audience-focused content creation.
- Candidates should possess foundational Multimedia skills, such as working with photos, video, or digital storytelling tools.
- Candidates should have strong research abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to fact-checking and ethical journalism.
- Candidates should demonstrate familiarity or interest in architecture, urbanism, or design-related topics, especially as they relate to youth and education.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Mumbai, collaborating with a diverse team, and managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Proficiency in digital publishing platforms and social media, along with strong organizational and time-management skills, is beneficial.
