Role Description The Relationship Manager role at InsureBuddy is a full-time, in office position based in Kochi.

The Relationship

Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions. Day-to-day activities include managing client portfolios, handling queries, coordinating with internal teams for policy issuance and servicing, and ensuring timely renewals. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting sales initiatives, and providing clear, accurate information to clients to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Manager is expected to maintain detailed records, adhere to regulatory guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, customer service, and stakeholder communication.
- Skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and basic sales pipeline management within financial services or related domains.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Comfort with technology-driven tools, CRM systems, and digital platforms used in modern insurance broking.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in insurance or financial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of general insurance concepts, policy structures, and regulatory norms is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain high ethical and compliance standards.
