About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and business-focused Regional HR Manager – West to partner with business leaders in driving the people agenda across the West region. The role will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR support across multiple stores, ensuring the region has the right talent, robust employee engagement, effective people processes, and a high-performance culture.

The incumbent will act as a trusted HR Business Partner to Operations, driving workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring seamless execution of national HR initiatives at the regional level.

HR Business Partnering

- Partner with regional business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Drive organizational effectiveness through proactive HR interventions.
- Monitor key people metrics and recommend initiatives to improve workforce productivity and business performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on all people-related matters.

Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition

- Lead regional manpower planning in line with business expansion and operational requirements.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely closure of positions.
- Build talent pipelines for critical and frontline roles.
- Ensure optimum manpower availability across all stores in the region.

Talent Management

- Identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
- Drive succession planning and talent review discussions.
- Lead regional promotions and Internal Job Posting (IJP) initiatives under the WINGS framework.
- Support implementation of High-Potential (HiPo) development programmes.

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives across the region.
- Drive employee surveys and facilitate action planning to improve engagement.




- Implement Rewards & Recognition programmes.
- Execute national HR initiatives while tailoring regional interventions.
- Ensure successful implementation of organisational programmes such as Shine and Synergy.

Employee Relations & Compliance

- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Drive governance and consequence management across the region.
- Build a positive employee relations environment.

HR Operations

- Support payroll input consolidation and validation.
- Ensure timely implementation of HR policies, processes, and annual HR cycles.
- Monitor workforce productivity and people-related KPIs, including IPLH and Sales Productivity Effectiveness (SPE).
- Drive process excellence and continuous improvement in HR operations.

People Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop the Regional HR team.
- Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners.
- Foster collaboration and capability building within the HR function.

Experience

- 8–10 years of overall HR experience.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR Business Partnering experience.
- Experience in Retail, QSR, FMCG, Hospitality, or other multi-unit businesses preferred.
