ROLE / JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for process development/evaluation of the wet and thermal processesin the lab and production. This includes characterizations of the experimental samples and data analysis.

He/She will be working on the surface texturing on multicrystalline and monocrystalline Si wafers and emitters formation projects. This includes execution of the experimentsin the production lines and cell lab.

He/She will be engaged in collaborations with third parties where applicable, and to operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the code of conduct.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

- To understand the exiting process performance and implement the improvement plan.
- To work closely with other project leaders and engineers for the release of improved process to the production.
- To overlook the full implementation of the improved process of the first pilot production run in accordance to RPDM process including writing of proper documentation for different stages of process development and technology changes (for example implication and interactions with other processes, lessons learnt) for the handover to Operation.

Safety

- The KPI is zero safety cases
- Comply with the companys safety protocol at all times
- Participate in projects related to safety improvement

Communication and Presentation

- Ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organization

Others

Perform other duties as assigned.



Duties will vary according to the degree of difficulty and involvement of the specific targets set in the department.

Technical / Professional

Minimum bachelor degree in electrical engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering or physics degree

Minimum three years of experience in wet and thermal processes

Technological

Fundamental knowledge of solar cell / semiconductor device physics

Knowledge or hands-on experience with wet and thermal processes would be an advantage

General

Excellent team player

Self motivated and able to work independently

Reliable and consistent

Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to gather and review resources and select and synthesize data for reports and other written materials





Proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel and powerpoint

Ability to work with limited supervision and through extended hours when needed to meet the team commitments

Readiness to travel overseas

Proactive working attitude, high level of accuracy with attention to detail

Ability to work in cross-department and cross-functional duties not limited to engineering jobs (includes project planning, liaise with different levels within organization to speed up development process). High exposure to quick pace manufacturing environment.

Excellent command on English Language is necessary. Additional knowledge of other languages is an advantage

Enthusiasm in the field of renewable energy

Knowledge

Working experience in Solar / Semiconductors / Electronics processing is advantageous, but it is not a must

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

Proficient in Software statistical tools is an added advantage (MS excel, JMP, etc)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Physical, Certificates, Etc) :

Physically fit and able to work overtime on experiment day

Able to perform standing work for longer period (at the multi-stack equipment)

Able to wear chemical personal protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, goggles)
