Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Radiologist to work on a contract basis. The role involves interpreting medical imaging studies, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to diagnose and support patient care. Contractors will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to diagnose conditions accurately.
- Generate detailed diagnostic reports with clear, actionable findings for referring physicians.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in medical imaging interpretation.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to healthcare teams in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure diagnostic accuracy and consistency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology with active medical licensure.
- Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, MRI, and CT.
- Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image review.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic reports under time constraints.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic coding standards.
