Alongside our core statutory audit, taxation, GST, and compliance practice, we support outsourced accounting and bookkeeping work for US-based clients, including hotels, CPA firms, and small-to-mid-sized businesses.

Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented QuickBooks Online (QBO) Accountant to join our outsourced accounting team, managing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close for our US clients. This role suits someone fluent in QBO, comfortable working with US GAAP standards, and able to work independently across multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online for multiple US-based clients across industries (hospitality, retail, services)
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record and categorize transactions, journal entries, and accruals
- Prepare month-end and year-end close, including financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Review and clean up existing QBO files, chart of accounts, and classes/locations
- Coordinate with the US team and clients on discrepancies, missing documentation, or clarifications




- Assist with 1099 preparation support, sales tax workpapers, and payroll journal entries as needed
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives (bank feed rules, app integrations, etc.)

Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience (required)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP bookkeeping practices and month-end close processes
- Experience with bank reconciliations and multi-client bookkeeping
- Familiarity with apps like Bill.com, Dext/Receipt Bank, Expensify, or similar is a plus
- QBO ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid written and verbal English communication (client-facing with US clients)
- Willingness to work overlapping hours with US time zones (partial evening shift may be required)
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field; CA-Inter, CMA, or equivalent is a plus

Nice to Have

- Experience with hotel/hospitality accounting
- Exposure to Tally alongside QBO (useful for cross-referencing with India-side books)
- Prior experience working with a US-facing outsourced accounting process
