Role Description This full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on supporting end-to-end cost management for residential and commercial construction projects.

The Quantity

Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), analyze drawings and specifications, and assist in tender preparation, evaluation, and negotiation. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, tracking budget versus actual expenditure, updating cost reports, and supporting value engineering initiatives.



The role also involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate measurements, timely certifications, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The Quantity

Surveyor will contribute to risk assessment, cash flow forecasting, and continuous improvement of cost control processes to help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

- Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management, to ensure projects remain within approved budgets.
- Proficiency in quantity take-offs and documentation, with hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, verification, and reconciliation.
- Ability to perform Cost Planning, including estimating, budgeting, and supporting value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Experience in Cost Reporting, including periodic cost statements, cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, and management presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., item rate, lump sum), tendering processes, and basic legal and regulatory requirements in India.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams.
