Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with semiconductor industry standards, ensuring robust documentation control, audit readiness, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and foundry requirements across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve QMS aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and JEDEC standards
- Support foundry audits, customer audits, and certification audits
- Drive CAPA, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and change control processes
- Ensure compliance with reliability and qualification requirements (JEDEC, AEC-Q100 where applicable)
- Support management reviews and report quality system performance
- Manage engineering and quality documentation:
- Control plans
- Process flows
- FMEAs
- Qualification reports (HTOL, HTSL, TC, HAST, etc.)
- Datasheets and product change notices (PCNs)
- Ensure strict version control, traceability, and document lifecycle management
- Handle ECO/ECN (Engineering Change Orders/Notices)
processes
- Maintain compliance with document retention policies and audit requirements
- Drive adherence to semiconductor quality processes across design, wafer fabrication, assembly, and test
- Support Recent Product Introduction (NPI) with documentation readiness and qualification tracking
- Monitor and improve quality metrics (DPPM, PPM, yield trends, reliability data)
- Standardize processes across internal teams and external foundries/OSAT partners
- Work closely with:
- Design and Product Engineering
- Foundry and OSAT partners
- Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Reliability teams
- Ensure alignment of documentation with customer requirements and specifications
- Provide support for customer data requests, audits, and compliance documentation
- Lead and support:
- Internal audits
- Customer audits
- Foundry/OSAT audits
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions
- Maintain readiness for regulatory and customer compliance checks
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of:
- Semiconductor manufacturing flow (fab, assembly, test)
- JEDEC standards and reliability testing (HTOL, HTSL, HAST, TC)
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 QMS requirements
- Expertise in:
- Document control systems (PLM, Agile, Windchill, SAP)
- Change management (ECO/ECN/PCN processes)
- Quality tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Minitab preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Semiconductor / Industrial Engineering
- Certifications preferred:
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Lead Auditor
Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
