Purpose/Objective The Quality & Safety Incharge (Site)-SM is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and quality systems at the site level, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

This role actively enforces safety protocols, identifies and mitigates risks, and monitors site operations to maintain high safety and quality standards.

By supporting safety initiatives and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, the Quality & Safety Senior Team Member contributes to a secure, productive, and compliant work environment that aligns with the organization’s operational goals and values.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Quality & Safety Incharge (Site)-SM Strategic Leadership and Planning: Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards by partnering with the Techno-Commercial team, monitoring procurement activities, and conducting thorough inspections of materials, device installations, and site locations.

Promote a culture of safety by driving awareness initiatives, including safety meetings, training programs, and campaigns, ensuring continuous safety improvements and alignment with corporate objectives.

Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by identifying deviations during inspections, addressing non-conformities, and ensuring vendor and contractor adherence to organizational protocols.

Improve operational efficiency by supporting technicians in accurately feeding smart meter data into designated systems and coordinating with in-house teams to analyse insights for safety improvements.

Safety Governance: Minimize risks and incidents by overseeing device installations, implementing safety measures focused on Man, Machine, Metal, and Method,



and enforcing corporate safety protocols to create a safe and compliant work environment.

Proactively mitigate risks by conducting risk assessments (e.

g.

, HIRA), identifying workplace hazards, and supporting the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.

Ensure safe and compliant operations by supervising the handling, installation, and operation of smart meters and devices in alignment with safety guidelines.

Technology and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas to enhance quality and safety processes, implementing solutions, and maintaining audit readiness through accurate records and reporting.

Use data-driven approaches and technology to gather actionable insights, optimize preventive measures, and support real-time decision-making.

Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to QHSE standards by conducting regular site inspections, documenting findings, and driving timely resolution of compliance gaps to maintain operational excellence.

Promote compliance by overseeing the alignment of device installations with organizational policies and ensuring all risk mitigation measures are implemented effectively.

Stakeholder Management: Foster collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on safety standards, operational goals, and compliance requirements.





Strengthen partnerships with vendors and contractors by ensuring alignment with project deliverables, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

Team Management: Provide guidance to technicians and operators during device installations and maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality protocols.

Promote team development by addressing skill gaps, offering training opportunities, and ensuring alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: B.

E.

/ B.

Tech.

in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (Mandatory).

Industrial Safety Degree Certificate - Preffered Work Experience (Range of years): 5-8 years of hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining quality and safety systems in a site-based or operational environment.

Experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Utilities, or similar operational environments with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Ability to supervise on-site activities, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and operational goals.
