Job Profile
- Lead and manage complete Quality Assurance Department (QAD) operations for metallurgical coke manufacturing.
- Supervise testing, monitoring, and reporting of raw materials, coal blends, and finished metallurgical coke parameters.
- Conduct and oversee Proximate Analysis, Ultimate Analysis, Coking Parameters, and metallurgical coke testing.
- Identify process deviations, implement corrective actions, and execute quality optimization and cost control strategies.
- Generate MIS reports, quality dashboards, and management presentations using ERP (SAP) platforms.
- Maintain laboratory discipline, instrument calibration records, testing standards, and statutory compliance.
- Work closely with Production, Operations,
and Procurement teams to maintain high product standards.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Coke & Metallurgical Testing: Mandatory expertise in Proximate/Ultimate Analysis, coking properties, and coke quality evaluation.
- Managerial Experience: 8+ years in a senior/managerial QA role within the coke-making or metallurgical sector.
- ERP & Systems: Robust proficiency in SAP ERP systems, data management, and quality dashboards.
- Process Optimization: Proven capability in handling quality deviations, root cause analysis, and analytical troubleshooting.
