Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Noida, focused on solar projects.

The Quality

Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality plans, procedures, and inspection test plans for solar installations.

Responsibilities include conducting on-site inspections of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical works; verifying compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards; and documenting non-conformities with corrective and preventive actions. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure consistent quality practices, managing quality documentation, and preparing periodic quality reports and dashboards.

Engineer will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, support audits, and provide technical guidance to site teams on quality-related issues.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Product Quality for solar and construction projects, with the ability to design and implement practical quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Control, including inspections, testing, and verification of materials and workmanship at site.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including development of quality plans, procedures, and documentation, and support for internal/external audits.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in quality roles within solar projects, EPC, or construction engineering environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices for solar installations, construction safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications, and familiarity with project management tools and reporting formats.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to root-cause analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary site teams and stakeholders.
