About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee and enhance the quality standards within our jewelry manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure that every piece of jewelry produced meets strict quality specifications, adheres to industry standards, and aligns with customer expectations.

This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems, conducting detailed inspections at various production stages, and fostering a culture of quality awareness across teams. The QA/QC Manager will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing defect data, and implementing corrective actions to reduce rework and rejects. Qualifications

- Minimum of 5-6 years of proven experience in jewelry manufacturing, quality assurance, or quality control roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Metallurgy,



Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar is preferred.
- Jewellery manufacturing or Gemology certification is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes including casting, filing, assembling, soldering, polishing, stone setting, and finishing.
- Proficiency in quality inspection tools, techniques, and software.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions across all stages of jewelry manufacturing, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline quality processes.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections at incoming materials, in-process stages, and final product releases to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout various manufacturing processes including casting, filing, assembling, soldering, polishing, stone setting, and packing.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address defects and prevent recurrence.
- Analyze rejection, rework, repair, and customer complaint data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Establish quality checkpoints and inspection criteria at each stage of production to ensure consistency and quality control.




- Approve first-off samples, pilot batches, and final products before release to ensure they meet all quality and craftsmanship standards.
- Ensure that jewelry dimensions, weight, finish, polish, solder quality, stone alignment, and overall craftsmanship conform to design specifications.
- Train production and quality teams on inspection standards, defect prevention techniques, and quality awareness to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications.
