About The Role Role Overview

NR Consulting is looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance activities across software development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, automation testing, QA processes, test planning, team management, release quality, defect control, and stakeholder communication.

This role requires someone who can manage QA teams, define testing strategy, improve testing processes, and ensure high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, SaaS, and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of leading QA teams.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and release management.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing, regression testing, API testing, and UAT support.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Good understanding of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium,



or similar frameworks.
- Ability to define QA processes, testing standards, defect management processes, and release quality controls.
- Excellent team management, stakeholder communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards.
- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, including test plans, approaches, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Review business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to ensure testability and completeness.
- Oversee manual testing, automation testing, regression testing, API testing, and support for UAT and release validation processes.
- Ensure proper design of test cases, efficient test execution, accurate defect reporting, and timely defect closure.
- Track QA progress through dashboards, monitor defect trends, assess release readiness, and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, product owners, project managers, and leadership to facilitate seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Drive automation testing adoption to enhance testing efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve coverage.
- Manage QA resource planning,



workload allocation, estimates, and team performance evaluations.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases with minimal production defects and post-release issues.
- Prepare comprehensive QA reports, status updates, risk assessments, and obtain release sign-offs from stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop QA Analysts, Senior QA Engineers, and Automation Testers to build a high-performing QA team.
