About the Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our AI-driven products before they reach customers in the financial sector — where precision and trust are non-negotiable. You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to design test strategies for both traditional software features and AI/ML-driven functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and AI/ML-powered features
- Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, regression) to support fast, reliable releases
- Test AI model outputs for correctness, consistency, and edge-case handling, working with data scientists to define acceptable behavior and quality thresholds
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using tools like Jira or Linear
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across releases
- Validate data accuracy and integrity in workflows involving sensitive financial data
- Collaborate with engineers early in the development cycle to catch issues before they reach QA (shift-left testing)
- Contribute to test plans for security, compliance,



and performance testing relevant to financial services (e.g., data handling, access controls)
- Help define and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices as we scale
- Participate in release management and sign-off processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2-4 years of skilled QA/testing experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or B2B software, who is self driven and a natural leader.
- Problem solving skills including good understanding of data structures and algorithm.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Hands-on experience with API based testing & test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Unit testing frameworks and Postman/Newman, or similar)
- Experience in python or other coding languages to write automations and other CI/CD scripts.
- Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and working with tools like Postman or similar
- Comfortable writing SQL queries to validate data
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Linear, etc.)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into them,
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail — you notice what others miss
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting bugs and collaborating cross-functionally
- Maintaining and updating test suites across multiple products and automating backend API testing.
- Have understanding of Gen AI model testing and validation, evals etc
- Have experience with load testing and ability to use load testing tools like locust, nodecannon etc.

Good to Have

- Prior experience testing AI/ML-powered products or evaluating model outputs
- Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with data privacy and security standards relevant to financial services (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Well maintained github profile with interesting projects.
