We are looking for a QA Tester responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The candidate should have strong experience in functional testing, test automation using Selenium, and performance testing.
The role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing
- Understand business requirements and technical specifications.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.
- Perform manual testing for web applications, mobile applications and APIs.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Work with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Automation Testing (Selenium)
- Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Implement automation frameworks using Selenium with Java / C#.
- Maintain and update automated test suites for regression testing.
- Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure maximum test coverage through automation.
- Analyse automation test results and troubleshoot failures.
Performance Testing
- Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests.
- Use tools such as Apache JMeter or LoadRunner or similar performance testing tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and system limitations.
- Provide reports and recommendations for performance improvements.
Required Skills *
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience in functional testing of web applications.
- Experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good to Have
- Experience in CI/CD integration for automation testing.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
