Role Description The QS & Contractor is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing quantity surveying activities and coordinating construction execution for residential projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, and cost estimates, as well as monitoring project budgets and supporting tendering and contractor negotiations. The role involves supervising site work, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and vendors to resolve technical and commercial issues.

The QS & Contractor will also track material usage, verify contractor invoices, support documentation and reporting,



and assist in maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong quantity surveying and cost estimation skills, including preparation of BOQs, rate analysis, and budget tracking.
- Experience in construction supervision and site coordination for residential or commercial real estate projects.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and basic CAD tools for measurements and documentation.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, local building codes, and contract administration practices.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements on-site.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; prior experience in real estate or infrastructure projects is preferred.
