Key Responsibilities
A.Quantity Surveying
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQ and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from GFC/IFC drawings.
- Verify executed quantities jointly with site/QA-QC teams.
- Maintain project quantity records and measurement sheets.
- Reconcile BOQ quantities against actual executed quantities.
- Identify quantity variations, omissions and additional works.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra/substituted items.
B.Client Billing
- Prepare monthly RA Bills / Interim Payment Applications.
- Prepare measurements and abstracts supporting client bills.
- Coordinate with Site, QA/QC and Planning teams for bill documentation.
- Ensure all measurements are properly recorded and certified.
- Track bill submission, certification and payment status.
- Follow up on pending certifications and recoveries.
C. Subcontractor Billing
- Verify subcontractor bills against actual site execution.
- Check measurements, BOQ rates,
approved variations and work orders.
- Verify material advances, mobilization advances, retention, deductions and recoveries.
- Prepare subcontractor payment recommendations.
- Ensure no duplicate or excess claims are certified.
D. Cost Control
- Maintain project Budget vs Actual Cost.
- Monitor quantities and cost against approved BOQ.
- Prepare monthly cost reports.
- Track committed cost, certified cost and balance cost.
- Highlight cost overruns and potential commercial risks to the Project Manager.
- Assist in forecasting the Estimated Cost at Completion (EAC).
Significant Responsibility “The QS & Billing Engineer shall be responsible for protecting the company’s commercial interests at project level and shall ensure that all executed quantities, approved variations, contractual entitlements and recoverable costs are properly measured, documented, billed and recovered.”
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
