Job Summary

Kored Infratech Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced QS & Billing Engineer with 6–15 years of experience in railway infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, BOQ management, client and subcontractor billing, measurement, cost control, variation claims, and commercial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify client RA bills and subcontractor bills as per actual site measurements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and contract documents to identify quantities and billing requirements.
- Maintain measurement books (MB), joint measurements, quantity statements, and billing records.
- Track executed quantities against approved BOQ quantities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning engineers, project managers, and survey teams for accurate measurements.
- Prepare monthly client bills, interim payment certificates, and supporting documents.
- Verify subcontractor bills and ensure quantities are as per approved work and contract terms.
- Prepare variation statements, extra item claims, deviation statements, and rate analysis.




- Monitor project costs and assist in budgeting and cost control.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation for materials such as earthwork, aggregates, concrete, steel, ballast, and other construction materials.
- Assist in preparation of final bills and account settlement.
- Maintain proper commercial and billing documentation for audits and client review.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants regarding billing, measurements, variations, and commercial issues.

Railway Project Experience Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:

- Railway new line / doubling projects
- Railway earthwork and embankment works
- Track laying and track-related civil works
- Railway bridges and structures
- Railway stations and platforms
- Culverts and drainage works
- RFO / ROB / RUB works
- Freight corridor projects

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Billing.
- Excellent knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, quantity estimation, and measurement.
- Experience with client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Knowledge of railway project specifications and contract procedures.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with billing/ERP software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, negotiation, and communication skills
