Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Manual & Automation Tester with 3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to design test scenarios, execute test cases, develop automation scripts, identify defects, and ensure high-quality software releases.

The candidate will work closely with development, product, business, and QA teams to ensure applications meet functional, technical, and business requirements.

Important: This role requires the candidate to work according to UK business hours/time zone. Candidates should be comfortable working in a UK-time-based shift and collaborating with UK-based teams and clients.Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and identify test requirements.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test plans.
- Perform manual testing including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Sanity Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- Exploratory Testing
- User Acceptance Testing support
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute automated regression and functional test suites.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
- Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, sprint planning, and review meetings.
- Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and testing metrics.
- Perform API testing and validate application responses.
- Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
- Analyze automation test results and troubleshoot failures.
- Contribute to improving automation frameworks and QA processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into deployment processes.
- Ensure applications meet quality, functionality, reliability, and performance expectations.
- Communicate testing progress, risks,



blockers, and quality issues to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills – Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
- Strong ability to create detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience with test planning and test execution.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with defect tracking tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- Bugzilla
- Similar tools
- Ability to analyze requirements and identify functional and edge-case scenarios.

Required Skills – Automation Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cypress
- Or similar automation frameworks
- Good programming experience in one or more of:
- Java
- C#
- Python
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience developing and maintaining reusable automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM).
- Experience with data-driven and parameterized testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and maintain automation scripts.
- Experience executing automated regression test suites.

API Testing
- Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as:
- Postman
- REST Assured
- SoapUI
- Similar tools
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and JSON.
- Experience validating API responses and backend data.

Database Testing
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience validating data between application and database.
- Understanding of database testing concepts.

CI/CD & Version Control




- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated testing pipelines.
- Experience with tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI/CD
- Good knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience integrating automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Experience working with Azure or AWS environments.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Experience with mobile/web application testing is an advantage.
- Understanding of basic security and accessibility testing concepts.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience in Manual and Automation Testing, with strong hands-on experience in both manual QA and test automation.

Work Timing

UK Time-Based Work Schedule The selected candidate will be required to work in alignment with UK business hours. Flexibility to work according to UK time-zone requirements is essential for this position.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be someone who can independently handle QA activities from requirement analysis through test execution, defect management, automation, regression testing, and release validation, while working effectively with UK-based stakeholders and development teams.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
