About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester to thoroughly test web and mobile applications. The primary focus will be a data-driven consumer applications involving AI-powered functionality and performing deep User acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough manual, functional, exploratory, regression and integration testing.
- Test complete user journeys and identify functional, usability and data-related issues
- Validate calculations, data accuracy, business rules and application behaviour
- Test APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Perform database/data validation using SQL
- Test AI/LLM-powered features for accuracy, consistency, edge cases and unexpected responses
- Identify unusual scenarios and edge cases beyond documented requirements
- Test across browsers, devices and screen sizes
- Clearly document defects with steps to reproduce, expected/actual behaviour,



severity and supporting evidence
- Work closely with developers and product stakeholders through resolution and release
- Build and maintain regression test cases and test documentation
- Support test automation where appropriate

Qualifications (Basics)

- 2-3 years of software testing/QA experience
- Strong experience in manual and exploratory testing
- Excellent analytical, numerical and logical reasoning
- Strong understanding of API testing
- Working knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Experience testing data-heavy applications and complex business logic
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently investigate issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with fintech, banking, accounting, lending, investment or other financial applications
- Experience testing AI/LLM-based applications
- Automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar
- Basic understanding of application security, privacy and performance testing
